My Reality

I currently stand at exactly 217 pages in, after starting last night. 

The book's plot is at the frustration stage: Tris and Tobias' relationship seems to be going all down hill because they are keeping the truth from one another and the Erudite have huge plans that may involve an endless simulation.

A few interesting points that I have noticed so far in my reading endeavours:

• The gate that allows the amity into the outside world is locked from the outside, not the inside. This suggests to me the potential of a complete isolated outside world with more of a population OR that everyone within the city and their way of life is a huge out simulation of some sort. There is something not quite right about people not being allowed past that gate. 

• The second thing that I wanted to point out is that Tris' father, was in fact a Erudite turn to Abnegation transfer originally. It is funny that Tris went to Dauntless, her mother's old faction, and Caleb went to Erudite, her father's old faction. The fact that Tris is also Divergent like her mother, may suggest a hereditary instinct to choose your parents faction. 

• Tobias' mother definitely has an ulterior plan, that has something to do with the Abnegation plans.

• And what is Marcus hiding? What information does he have?

Hopefully this will all be revealed, AFTER I finish that blasted essay.
